>If you’re not a fan of bees, then stay away from Lydia Lane Park.
We’ve received several emails throughout the past few days about the large amount of bees at the popular park in Clayton, but on Tuesday, the bees took it to another level after they stung a man and his dog.
Here’s an account from the relative of a witness….
My wife and children just came back from a playdate (attempted playdate) at Lydia Lane Park in Clayton. Our friend took this photo while she and her kids were waiting for my gang to arrive. She texted my wife that there were many more bees swarming the area, and that a man walking his dog was attacked and stung several times before running off. She never left the car.
The bees then proceeded to swarm her car as she got out of there.
Authorities have been contacted….just a word to the wise.
Thanks for the heads-up! If you visit Lydia Lane park, please be careful.
And if you think bees can’t swarm vehicles, check out this story that was on Claycord in April of 2012. The story from 2012 actually made National news after it was exclusively reported on Claycord.com.
