Vehicle Burglaries in the Willows Shopping Center – Victim Needs Memory Card Back

If you’re going to the Willows Shopping Center, be sure to NOT leave anything valuable in your vehicle, even if it’s hidden.

According to a Claycordian who visitited the Willows last night, at least three vehicles were broken into, including hers.

My family was at Fuddrucker’s last night for my son’s birthday and when we came back to our car at about 8:45pm, we found our window busted out and some items stolen.

Most importantly our digital camera with all of our family photos on several memory cards within the camera case. I know – it’s my fault for not downloading my pictures in quite some time, but I am just heartbroken that our pictures are all gone.

The camera was a digital Cannon EOS Rebel T3I in a black large camera case with small red stripe. I can deal with not getting the camera back, but if anyone out there comes across the memory cards please PLEASE can you return them to us?

We have photos from Christmas, our family vacation in Hawaii, a family 50th wedding anniversary, my son’s basketball games, and I think the most recent were the first day of kindergarten photos from last month.

I also wanted to let you know so you can get the message out there that according to the security guard in the parking lot, our vehicle was the 3rd burglary within the past hour. Guess it’s time to hire some more security?

If there is anything you can do to help get our precious memories returned, I would be so grateful.

If anybody out there happens to come across this camera with these pictures, please bring it to the Concord Police Department, or email news@claycord.com and we’ll arrange for somebody to pick it up from any location.

All tips can be anonymous.
