UPDATE: Man With Shotgun Spotted at Apartment Complex on Kirker Pass

>>A man with a shotgun was spotted at the Corners Apartment Complex on Kirker Pass Road in Concord this morning. Police are on scene looking for the man. ConFIRE has also responded to the scene because a fire alarm was set off in the same complex.

The man, who was spotted by at least three people, was seen pointing the shotgun as if he was about to shoot it.

Police have a perimeter set up.

UPDATE, 12:10pm: Thanks to “ML” for the pictures! The police are still searching for the man. They just pulled over a vehicle with a person matching the description of the suspect (white male, plaid shirt) going over 100-mph on Kirker.

UPDATE, 12:31pm: The search has been called off. The man who was pulled over on Kirker Pass has been arrested, according to the Concord Police. They have not said if the man who was arrested is in fact the man who was spotted with a gun. Police say he has a history of mental illness.
