A Rottweiler killed an 82-year-old woman’s Shih-Tzu on Lynwood Drive at about 7:30 on Thursday morning.
The attack happened while the lady was about to go on a morning walk with her dog. According to a family friend, the Shih-Tzu was on a leash in front of her house when a Rottweiler came up and killed it.
The family friend tells Claycord.com that when the dog’s owner asked the man for his information he said “f**k you b*tch, it was your fault”.
We’re hearing the owner of the Rottweiler fled the scene, but was quickly identified by concerned neighbors and then contacted by authorities. The Rottweiler’s owner still has custody of the dog, according to a family friend.
Contra Costa Animal Control is investigating the incident.
