The Walnut Creek Police are investigating a burglary and an attempted burglary at two fire stations in Walnut Creek.
Lt. Steve Gorski with the Walnut Creek Police says sometime between September 8th and September 9th, a station on Walnut Ave. was broken into while the firefighters were on Mt. Diablo. He says some personal items and equipment were stolen.
On September 9th, a person attempted to force open a window at the station on Rossmoor Parkway but ran off when they were confronted.
The investigation is still active and no arrests have been made.
