To honor the life of Senator Arlen Specter, the President has ordered all public buildings to fly their flags at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday night.
Flags will also fly at half-staff at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset.
Specter died on Sunday after a long battle with cancer. He was 82.
